7 things

Thank you Erin for this award! Nothing like a bit of cyber love to brighten up a rainy Thursday!
       Those who are sent the award are asked to choose 15 bloggers to pass it onto and to share 7 things about themselves.

  1. I have a very short attention span
  2. I don't particularly like running, haven't run since my uni days all those years ago (and even then it was only a brief flirtation) but have decided to push myself and train for a marathon.  I can currently run for 25 mins.....think it will be a while before I can run for 4 or 5 hours!!
  3. Apply #1 to #2 - I might get bored and give up!
  4. I can't remember the last time I went more than 24 hours without chocolate in some form.
  5. I have a burning desire, have had for a long time now, to buy a house and paint it all white...even the floors...and then add splashes of colour here and there.
  6. My fridge is currently only stocked with food....there is no polaroid....and that makes me a little    bit nervous, I need to stock up soon, very soon, before all the lovely original (but expired) 600 film runs  out.....
  7. I do love a blue sky. But I think you all know that. ;)
{Sorry bout the formatting, blogger is playing up and I cannot figure out how to get #1 to match up with the text.....running out the door so will have a play a little later!}

in the morning light...

Next time a sunrise steals your breath or a meadow of flowers leave you speechless, remain that way.
Say nothing, and listen as heaven whispers,
"Do you like it? I did it just for you."

Just as they are

{His Name was Brutus}
I'm still scanning the polaroids from our trip home to New Zealand....with everything else going on around here it's taking me longer than I thought it would, I'm snatching half an hour of time here and there when I can.

{The Road Home}
These latest 2 I started to play with, layering textures etc, but I kept coming back to the original scans, and have decided that like all of the other polaroids in the (growing) 'i heart the country' series, apart from some minor cropping, I like them just as they are...exactly how Sonny has captured them.

Off to the market.....with my new Tote Bags...

I've been bursting with ideas for new products, and here is the first in a long list I'd like to share -
100% Cotton Tote bags. I love bags and especially love funky totes...a girl can never have enough bags I say!  I am so happy with how these turned out, just enough rustic-ness to suit my vintage style, yet practical enough to be used for your everyday errands.

I am surrrounded by my preparation for the Sisters' Market this Saturday, (which feels great as I've been a bit un-motivated recently) and I am really excited to be introducing the Tote Bags. Next week I will add them to the shops, and in the meantime I am giving one away to a fan on my Facebook page
If you'd like to be in to win, pop on over and leave a comment!

{Winner will be drawn at random on Sunday}.

Quite a few

Happy Easter!  We are back from our holiday to New Zealand, we all had the most amazing time catching up with family and friends and all things kiwi.  Every day I was snapping a polaroid where I could....we frequently stopped the car as the daily blue skies and brilliant autumn colours where just too perfect to pass by without capturing.  When the 680 died back in February I knew I had to replace it with another polaroid before this trip - and I hope you agree that autumn in the country is beautifully dreamy as seen through Sonny's viewfinder....

I have quite a few (hmmm, make that QUITE a few) more to scan,
so will be adding a few each day to the shops, both Etsy and Madeit are open again....
now back to scanning and eating Easter chocolate I go.....
