There isn't a lot I like about winter, it's no secret.
One thing I do love though is the winter trees,
the way the evening sky changes colour
behind the silhouette of bare branches...

Hi Susannah, so sad about Christchurch again - those poor people. I was lying in bed the other night while the house was being pounded by a severe low pressure system and giving thanks for my roof, my windows and doors, electricity, gas, doonas and woollen blankets just to name a few, so they are some of the things I like about winter, i.e. having the luxury of being sheltered and warm but I also love sitting behind glass in the winter sun and those crisp, sharp days that only winter seems capable of producing :) Love the tree images.
