The whimsy of bubbles
I love bubbles.
My kids love bubbles.
Is there anyone who doesn't love the whimsy of bubbles?
So often, when we are heading off on an adventure,
we pack in bubble mix....
to keep the kids entertained,
and for me to take photos.
When we went down the coast on Mothers Day,
we thought it would be too windy for bubbles,
but they were packed anyway.
And would you believe it,
there was only the slightest breeze.
So when the kids needed to run around before we drove home,
We got out the bubbles.
They chased, and I took photos.
And finally, I have finished these 4 photos.
Available in sets, or individually.

I love where I live
On
our way home from the city,
in the late dusk of the day,
we stopped at
the top of the hill.
And took a moment to look at this view.
The colours
breathtaking.
The sky endless.
The moon and first star out.
And down in
that valley, is where we live.
The drive can be a real mission to get
to all the city has to offer,
and to visit all of my best friends and
their families,
but when we see views like this,
the drive is magical.
I really do love where I live.
{I posted this on instagram on Saturday,
but wanted to have it here as part of my 'blog journey'}

I Love Carterton.
I really love where we live. When people hear we've just moved from Melbourne, the reaction is always - wow, from Melbourne to Carterton, why?? And you know, it is a huge change, from big city to small town. But we are LOVING it. I honestly believe we live in one of the most beautiful regions in the world.
So I am going to do a few posts to share with you why we love it so much.
So I am going to do a few posts to share with you why we love it so much.
#1. The wide open sky.
No tall buildings. No concrete. No bus and tram lines overhead.
No jungle of power lines. Just sky.
And in the distance, rugged mountain ranges to the west, gently rolling hills to the east,
coast to the south, and country to the north.
In between, all this sky.
Sky sky sky.
I do love the sky.
