Yes you can.

For the times we are afraid of everything that might go wrong if we try...

Why I love where I live #5

Why I love where I live....
the sky
the clouds
the trees
the birds at twilight.

I have been adding new country prints,
available here.

birds, trees, snow and daydreams....

In this part of the countryside,
everywhere I go,
I see birds.
I see fields.
I see wide open sky.
I see rows and rows of gorgeous trees.
And all of this seeing,
of course,
leads me to daydreaming........

The Winter Birds - new work

Every evening just before sunset, the most incredible flock of birds decends on the trees and fields...it is like one flock of hundreds and hundreds of birds, that swoops and flies as if dancing to music.  They break up into smaller groups and sit briefly in the trees, then fly into the fields, and back up into the trees.  It is an amazing sight.  And the sound!  Oh my, all these singing birds.

And so a new series of birds has begun.  This set above is called 'The Winter Birds', and is available on Etsy as a set of 4 5x5" photos.  It feels fitting to post about it today, as even though yesterday was spring, today we are back to cold grey rain.

Trouble with words and a new series

I really am not very good at this blogging thing. I find as soon as I sit in front of the "new post" screen my mind goes blank. BLANK. Anyone else have this problem? I think of so much I'd like to share, and then somewhere on the way to the computer the words disappear. Hmmmm.

Anyway, that aside, I am starting to work on a new Bird series.  This is the first completed photo, titled "Spread Your Wings".
There is something so lovely about birds in flight - the graceful way they fly, with a blue sky backdrop.....
