The holidays are coming....

I love this time of year.  We're starting to think about the holidays...decorating the house, putting up a tree, finding the Christmas Carol CD....it's a few weeks away, but holiday shopping is in full swing, (mine included, I love sites like Felt, Madeit, and Etsy for buying unique presents, and supporting handmade) and so is my holiday packaging.  All orders are now going out with my polaroid holiday star thank you note, and a little doily.  Yes I know doilies are everywhere, but it's because they are so cute.  And if you come to my house for afternoon tea, you will have a little treat served on a doily covered plate with your tea in a vintage tea cup.  Even Annabel sets the table with them - for our dinner, and for her little tea parties.  Which pleases me no end.

Happy Friday!

Sale in full swing

Etsy and madeit are both in full sale mode - I have grouped the 5x5's into sets, and they are going out the door at ridiculous prices! Still to be added is sets of 4x4's, and I am also going to be adding to the sale....photo blocks! But with the blocks, once I have sold out, I will not be adding more (until I reopen Etsy in New Zealand), so if you have had your eye on something, best you get in quick!

Also, to celebrate reaching 400 'likers' on Facebook, I am running a giveaway of a cotton tote bag (winner ot pick the design, I have a few in stock, like The Resting Place, The Minolta, Rainbow Swings and more...) and some extra goodies.  Open to all Facebook 'likers', just leave a comment under the giveaway post by end of day Sunday 27th June.

All of my excess stock must go before the shops close.  If you see under the 'sold' section a set of photos that you would like but isn't in the shop, send me a message and I will see if I can add them back in for you.

Thanks for all of the support, it has been totally, incredibly, overwhelming.

Sale

As things tick along (movers booked -check, flights booked - check..), and we have final dates in sight, I am having a huge sale in both madeit and Etsy...a lot of over stocked items, and some are just marked down because I am feeling the love.  I have more to add over the next few days (including a whole stack of few 4x4" prints). So I hope you enjoy, and for all those madeit shoppers, please remember this store will be closing for good mid July!

Introducing new stackable blocks and magnets

So I used to think the photo blocks were cute...but now I think they are sleek.  And these new adorable little stackable blocks and fridge magnets are oh-so-cute!
I am delighted to be introducing them in sets and singles in both the Etsy and madeit shops over the few days.  Although really I would like to keep them all, and a few have found our way to the fridge and to various shelves around the house.

Even Annabel exclaimed "ohhh, those are cute" when she saw them!

It's out!

After a few last minute changes, the desk calendar is here! I love it. But then I guess I am a little biased. ;) I am really into everything vintage and whimsical, everything that evokes a feeling of nostalgia, and this is what I have tried to incorporate for 2010's calendar.

They are available in both my Etsy and madeit shops, and I will have them at the Sisters' and Yarraville markets in Nov and Dec.
I am a little scared at how quickly this year is going, and can't quite believe it is calendar time again. But that means summer and endless months of blur sky are nearly here, so it's all good!

Madeit Interview

It is such a huge honour to have been asked to do this interview for madeit.com.au, thank you Bec! If you aren't familiar with this website, I highly recommend it, there are fantastic products available.
