Hearts Day

We're not that big on celebrating Valentine's Day here, but we did think it a lovely excuse to cook together, to get out our favourite {un-ironed} table linen,  and share a glass of wine.  And what Valentine's Day table would be complete without little paper hearts carefully created by 3 year old hands...

I hope however you spent your day, it was doing something you loved!

2 years! Giveaway time

2 years!
That's how long it has been since I first opened my Etsy shop
It has been a wonderful journey, full of discovery and growth.  With a lot to celebrate, and a lot still to learn.  I have loved it, and wish to thank you all!
So I am going to have a give away, if you would like to win a copy of my 2010 Lose Yourself in a Daydream calendar, simply leave a comment here, or over on my Facebook Fan Page.
Open until Sunday 24th Jan, winner will be drawn at random.

Thank you!

Baking from the heart

While musing that my baking never looks like the pictures in the cookbook,
I read this gorgeous quote. And realised that it's not so much about the finished product,
but about the time we take to bake together,
to make a mess together,
to sit down and eat together.
Annabel loves baking,
I love that she makes little hand hearts to show me.
